Today, on July 10, 2025, Pratima Education is officially launched as the parent organization of Pratima Books. Under its umbrella, Pratima Academy will be inaugurated on the sacred occasion of Guru Purnima, further advancing the mission to nurture academic excellence.
The official website, pratimaedu.com, will host new initiatives including eClass, Entrance Zone, and eExam, all powered by modern educational software. As it embraces the future, Pratima remains steadfast in its vision—supporting education with quality resources and unwavering dedication.
Rooted in Bhaktapur: The Journey of Pratima Books
Nestled near Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya in Sallaghari, Pratima Books has served as a cornerstone of academic support in Bhaktapur since its inception on March 24, 2010—a day that coincided with the auspicious festival of Ram Navami. For over a decade, it has been a trusted hub for students, educators, and schools, offering a comprehensive range of educational resources.
Pratima Books’ Publishing Milestones
The publishing journey began on March 18, 2011, with the release of Numerical Chemistry for XI and XII, authored by Shamim A. Shamin. Later that year, on September 4, 2011, the store launched its acclaimed Entrance Manual for Primary Level, marking the beginning of a valuable series for competitive exam preparation. This was followed by:

- Entrance Manual for Grade 6 on January 31, 2013 (18th Magh 2069)

On February 14, 2020, Pratima Books reached a defining milestone—relocating to its own dedicated building, a symbol of both expansion and deep community roots.
Just weeks later, on April 2, 2020, the store celebrated its 10th anniversary, once again aligning with Ram Navami—the day it was founded in 2010. This dual celebration honored a decade of dedication, resilience, and excellence in educational service.
